Our first Maui Special Rodeo is over. It took place on Saturday, September 18, 2010 during the mid-day break of the 6th Annual Piiholo Ranch Cowboy Classic. And it was great.
Thanks to all of our sponsors, both corporate and individual, for helping us give the kids a great day. Each child received a Piiholo Ranch tee-shirt, a cowboy hat, a bandanna, a handmade hat band, two goodies bags filled with great stuff, a pizza lunch and very importantly, real championship cowboy belt buckles that were donated by Hawaii’s Cowboy and Cowgirl Heroes.
To all of the Cowboy and Cowgirl heroes and other generous individuals who donated their time today to help the kids with horseback rides and other rodeo games, I say a special thank you. An event like this could not happen without you. You too are all special. I am proud to call you my friends. Thank you for your support and kindness.
